Wowzers, is there a lot of energy circulating right now or what? I have been extra tired, extra hungry, and feeling fuzzy n' foggy all week. Common tasks are taking longer to complete. Focus is a true effort. I constantly find myself looking in the kitchen pantry for "something." (Turn around... ignore Pringles... go to fruit drawer... ) The couch pillows are calling louder and louder.
A lot is going on underneath our beautiful layers of humanness right now. June has been a very big month with the main theme of endings - letting go - being DONE with many things (or everything). This is a total mental - emotional - spiritual process affecting us in ways we can't intellectually understand. So don't fight it (wasted precious energy) - just go with it. Allow your heart to lead at this juncture because it does know the way.
During the rest of this week, and into the long holiday weekend (for US and Canada friends) - take reeeaally good care of Beautiful, Lovely You. Be gentle with yourself. Release the need to go-go-go. Find time to unplug from all screens (TV, laptop, cellphone, GPS systems). Touch flowers, vegetables, the earth. Exercise, stretch, breathe. Keep everything simple.
If a few tasks can wait to be done until next week, it may feel immediately uplifting to move them out of sight for 5 days.
If you can grab a quick nap at any time, take it without regret or questioning. Sleep and rest do wonders for the soul as we transition to new (unseen) places right now.
And although your inner-Jillian-Michaels may disagree, it's a great time to follow temporary cravings that your body is telling you it needs. Some times a little extra sugar gives you a punch forward to get through the day (pure chocolate!!!). Some times extra fat helps cushion critical rough patches (divine cheese!!!). Trust your body right now as it is the prime vehicle for this journey. (Are we there yet?)
This is one of the bumpiest parts of Summer 2011, so it's extra-okay to be Self-First. Be extra kind and loving to all beautiful parts of yourself. Find time for simple pleasures to lift your spirits. The little things can do big wonders right now.
Here, I found this beautiful little message to shine light on your day:

Even after all this time,
the Sun never says to the Earth:
“You owe me.”
Look what happens with a love like that:
It lights up the whole Sky.
